These local Malvasia grapes ferment on their skins for a full four weeks, before aging gracefully in oak barrels. The result is a complex, layered wine that truly explores the depths of the orange style. Thanks to the extended maceration and oak aging, the Ambra boasts a rich, almost viscous texture. On the nose, you will immediately discover a wealth of aromas, including dried figs, apricot, honey, and warm spices like cinnamon and coriander. Despite that immense fullness and the soft tannins extracted from the grape skins, the wine retains an impressive freshness and a salty minerality. It owes this tight tension to the distinctive white clay and calcareous soils where the vines are rooted. This is a robust gastronomic wine.
